SportsMEDIA Technology (SMT), a Jacksonville-based events operations team that supports sporting events all across North America and the world, is seeking a summer intern.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in high pressure environments and problem solve efficiently
- Must be able to travel to both domestic and international events during internship
- Sound organizational, communication (both oral and written), and time management skills
- Sound software knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required
- Project management and/or event coordination preferred
- Prior event management / sponsorship or networking / IT experience preferred
Duties
- Works with SMT staff to prepare equipment for event service delivery
- Perform risk management to minimize any project issues or safety concerns
- Will be assigned to work SMT events as needed
- Participate in the loading, unloading, and inventory tracking of SMT equipment
- May be needed in other SMT departments
