Pride Olympics at Taste of Chicago 2025 - Event Planning Team
(Remote Position, 15-20 hrs/week)
Help us produce Chicago's most vibrant LGBTQIA+ celebration! We're building an unforgettable experience featuring:
• Entertainment: Pride Fashion Show & Drag Show Extravaganza
• Ceremonies: LGBTQIA+ Honoree Awards
• Sports: Pickleball Tournament, Flag Football & Ring Toss Games,;etc.
• Community: Live Performances
Qualifications
- Can work remotely 15-20 hrs/week (flexible schedule)
- Are passionate about LGBTQIA+ community events
- Enjoy both creative planning and detail coordination
- Can attend 2-3 weekly virtual team meetings (CT timezone)
Duties
- Coordinate virtual logistics for our 6 to 8 event program
- Manage participant communications for sports competitions
- Assist with honoree selection process and ceremony scripting
- Help design inclusive programming for diverse audiences
- Fashion Show Production (model coordination, runway layout)
- Drag Show Logistics (performer schedules, tech requirements)
- Sports Tournament Management (registration, rulesheets)
- Ceremony Planning (awards, speeches, VIP coordination)
