We are a peer-to-peer clothing rental platform where you can earn money by renting out your wardrobe and save money by borrowing others'. Our mission is to combat fast fashion and reduce textile waste, promoting a more sustainable and eco-friendly approach to style.
We are seeking a talented UX/UI Design Intern proficient in Figma to join our team. You'll work closely with an experienced UX/UI professional with over 15 years in the industry, supporting them and the team on small feature additions and enhancements. This role is ideal for someone familiar with apps like Depop and Poshmark or willing to immerse themselves in understanding these platforms. A self-starter attitude and a passion for user-centric design are essential.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a college or university program in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Figma Proficiency: Strong skills in Figma
- Portfolio: Ability to showcase prior work in Figma (projects, assignments, or personal work)
- Self-Starter: Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- User-Centric Mindset: Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit and openness to feedback
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for aesthetics, consistency, and precision in design
Duties
- Design Support: Assist in creating and refining user interfaces for our mobile app using Figma
- Feature Development: Collaborate on small feature additions, ensuring they align with our overall user experience goals
- User Research: Analyze and understand user behaviors and needs, particularly in relation to resale apps and sustainable fashion platforms
- Feedback Implementation: Iterate on designs based on feedback from team members and user testing
