Company Information

Founded by Agnes Gund in 1999, Arts Intern works with museums across the country to create early career opportunities for college students with financial need who are interested in the arts and cultural field. Our full-time paid summer internships are available in various departments including Archives, Collections and Exhibitions Research, Collections Registration, Conservation, Development, Editorial and Publications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Membership and more!

Qualifications

  • Students must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Students must reside and/or attend school in the city they are applying to
  • Students must have an EFC (now referred to as SAI) below $6,250

Duties

  • All interns will spend their summer working on a capstone project that is determined by their host organization

How to Apply

When students are ready to apply, they can find their city on our website and fill out our application through Submittable. Our application requires an unofficial transcript, PDF of their EFC amount, a resume, a cover letter, and a portfolio made up of any work samples the student would like to share.
