Comedy and Entertainment Intern

Company Information

I’m an LA-based stand up comedian, writer & content creator who makes comedy music, sketches, TV/film stuff and all things under the umbrella of comedy. I was chosen as one of JFL’s New Faces, starred in Netflix’s Gringolandia, wrote for Netflix’s The Fix with Jimmy Carr and Adult Swim’s Soft Focus, was a correspondent on comedy news show Redacted Tonight, contribute to Reductress and my four of my comedy songs hit number 1 on iTunes Comedy Charts (music is streaming under "ORiMOH").
 
I’m looking 1-2 interns who can organize tour dates and other performance opportunities, help me grow my reach on social media & assist in the production of comedy content, outreach media and podcasts, and find projects and activities that are engaging and aligned with student's goals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication & organizational skills
• Great sense of humor
• Work well with quick turnaround times
• Passionate about comedy & entertainment
• Social media savvy & able to tackle small picture tasks to accomplish big picture goals
• Knowledge of music production/music industry and/or interest in management/PR/booking a plus

Duties

• Scheduling bookings & tour dates
• Social media support (researching & outreaching brands to collaborate with, coming up with social campaign ideas, editing/captioning stand up videos to post, etc)
• Organizing shoot dates and vid production
• Arranging podcast appearances & other promotional activities
• Fun comedy brainstorming & entertainment biz/networking opportunities
• Meeting once a week over zoom unless student is doing a semester in LA
