The internship at Vizion Group PR provides students with the opportunity to get real-life experience public relations and marketing communications under flexible-schedule circumstances during the Spring semester. Internships are in-office/in-person. Remote internships can be arranged under certain circumstances.
Interns are asked to commit to 10-12 hours per week (2-3 days). The internship is unpaid, but students can receive academic credit. We are located in Berwyn, PA on the Main Line west of Philadelphia. We are a small agency and have the ability to customize schedules to fit student needs.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.
- Motivated self-starter who enjoys a challenge and being pushed outside their comfort zone.
- Quality writer and an organized and persuasive communicator.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Meticulous attention-to-detail skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and basic social media.
Duties
- Write and edit a wide variety of material ranging from presentations to press releases, fact sheets, brochures, social media copy, stories, blogs and briefing documents.
- Execute digital and social media initiatives across various platforms.
